The much maligned plastic is being re-embraced by the green movement - as long as it has had a previous life. Good old coffee cups are now being recycled into Garden Accessories galore.

Garden Beet has just had to insert some more virtual shelving for our new garden accessory friends that are all about telling the time and weather- yes, garden clocks, sundials and outdoor garden clocks with thermometers. Up till quite recently the contemporary garden has had little opportunity to style its space with time telling.

Garden Clocks have tended to suit a more quaint cottage garden aesthetic - which is fine but not quite what Garden Beet Gardens are about. Thankfully some clever product designer by a southern UK beach has idenitifed this gap and has managed to divert potential land fill into useful contemporary garden accessories. A big yeah to him. Made in the UK these garden accessories are very eco-chic and would make great eco gifts. 

Plus they are remarkably affordable. What a chic garden accessory clock for less than £27? 

And the clocks do not have a cheap plastic appearance either - looks similar to natural slate and has a heavy earthy feel. My favourite is the station clock which would be a unique garden gift for many contemporary gardeners.
